AQUARIST INFORMATION

 

Epiplatys longiventralis – Found on Pininterest.  No photographic attribution was given beyond img.kil.fish (which does not exist?).

 

Type Locality:  A ‘small stream along the Mbaiki to Mongoumba road, south of Bangui, Central African Republic’.

E mesogramma was collected in a small stream which crossed a side road from Pisa.  Their habitat is rainforest streams and brooks and small rivers.  They are found beneath overhanging vegetation at the edge of the biotope.

Reports claim the.y are easy to breed using top mops.  Incubation is about 14 days in water.
