Photographer Petr Dupal?

Aphyosemion (Diapteron) cyanostictum originate in small swampy streams, creeks, and ponds in the Ivindo and Benito River Basins, Gabon.

The use of the ‘Greenwood/Metzger method of breeding seems to work best.  When the fry are seen within the peat sphagnum, it is time to remove the parents.

Small live foods are taken slowly.  Baby brine shrimp are accepted, but various small worms and daphnia seem to initiate breeding behavior.
