<span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: medium;">  A 2011 collection by Kiril Kardashev and Ira Ivanova to Tanzania shows a number of pictures of possible new species or populations from several locations.  This collection includes 44 locations where Nothos were collected.

<span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: medium;">In 2012 Stephano Valdesalici and Guiseppe Amato collected in Kenya.  They retured with three species - one common but a new location, N.  palmqvisti KAV 2012-6, a second well known, but possibly no longer in the hobby prior to the collection,  N. elongatus KAV 2012-5 and finally a potenitally new species, N. sp Lake Victoria KAV 2012-1.</span>
